Institute Estre

The Estre Institute is an Oscip (Civil Society Organization of Public Interest) set up in 2006 and funded by Estre.

The Institute’s projects are divided into two areas of activity: Environmental Education and Dialogues and Knowledge. In its almost ten years of operation, the Institute’s programs have been attended by more than three hundred thousand people, and it has published three books. Today, it has two Environmental Education Centers (Fazenda Rio Grande/PR and Guatapará/SP), but its initiatives are not limited to these teaching locations.

The Institute travels around the country encouraging dialogue and reflection – with an ever growing and more diverse audience – on the following issues: consumption, waste, citizenship, sustainable education centers and other matters relating to environmental education and collective and emancipating processes.
